Pandora Announces September 2012 Audience Metrics

OAKLAND, Calif., Oct. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Pandora (NYSE: P), the leading internet radio service, announced today new metrics that were reached in the month of September 2012.

  • Listener hours for Pandora during the month of September 2012 were 1.15 billion, an increase of 67% from 687 million during the same period last year.
  • Share of total U.S. radio listening for Pandora in September 2012 was 6.53%, an increase from 4.03% at the same time last year.
  • Active listeners were 58.3 million at the end of September 2012, an increase of 49% from 39.0 million during the same time period last year.
